Raspberry Pi 5 is a small computer for coding, home servers, media projects and electronics. A starter kit gives you the main parts needed for your first setup.
Before you begin
- Use a suitable power supply.
- Fit the cooling parts before long or heavy jobs.
- Install Raspberry Pi OS on a microSD card.
- Connect a screen, keyboard and mouse for the first setup.
First start
Insert the microSD card, connect your screen and then connect power. Follow the setup steps to choose your language, Wi-Fi and password. Install updates before adding other software.
Good first projects
Try a simple Python program, a small web server or a network-wide ad blocker. Make one change at a time and keep a backup of important files.
See the Raspberry Pi 5 Starter Kit and choose the memory size that fits your project.
